THIS WEEK IN CLASS
Science Methods: We studied attributes of light, absorption and light scattering, the sun, and played with various lenses to see how they affected the light rays that passed through them.
Life Science: The entire class period was spent discussing how the nervous system works and problems that people might have if disease or accidents damage the nervous system. We also labelled the parts of the brain on balloon faces.
Physical Science: We continue to learn about ions and chemical bonding. The students created Lewis figures and used them to predict oxidation charge and also to predict how elements might combine.
